this is in reference to my recent post in the submissions section (MY FIRST 3D PROG!) Is there a quicker, more efficient way of raycasting? I explained the method I used in that article... |

thanks. helped alot. I was checking the dist by pixel, not geomentric. that will DEFINETLY speed up the process. So now when I finish up with adding weather (rain, snow, etc...) it won't be to slow to run. I already have weather, but right now it is a bit slow... Many thanks! : ) |

*necro'd but for a good reason SNIPERDUDE, did you ever figure out efficient raycasting? I have a maze/shooter game made but it's too darn slow |
