It's a pretty new site, but it seems quite interesting. It's comparable to facebook for programmers. You can make a page outlining which languages your know (and to what extent), post comments on other people's pages, and make friends. This is in addition to uploading code snippets, articles, full programs, and even creating a portfolio. It's also got a pretty extensive forum. It's still quite small, with only about 100 or so members.

Just thought that you guys might find it interesting, I know I did. Let me know what you think. And if you do end up registering, be sure to add me as a friend; same alias as on this site :p

That's very interesting. I always wanted to be a member of something in its early days and then have it become a large success, so I might check this out.

Hehe, me too. And if anything, this site has the potential to be big.

Hey up guys,

I'm the developer of coder profile. Just thought i would pop in here to clear up a few things.

The site keeps getting members every few days purely from word of mouth, sharing profiles, search engines, etc. I am not investing my money in to the site until i have done about 2-3 more months development since i have some big plans for this site but i do not want it to go big yet since it will reduce the amount of time i have to delevelop the site. When it is ready i will invest my own money. Also their are over 150 members Laughing

The people who help me the most on the site by contributing to the community i will reward in some way in the future as a way of saying thank you. Also why the site is still relatively a small community at the moment it means i can get to know the active members on their and listen to feedback etc... at the moment i LOVE feedback about the site which can be posted in the suggestions and feedback forum on CP. You can also checkout the development blog to keep track of updates (see the footer of the website).

I would just like to take this opportunity to say thank you to those who have joined and i look forward to getting to know you guys Very Happy

Kind regards,
Scott

I agree http://www.coderprofile.com/index.php is an interesting and neat site. But I was wondering why it doesn't seem to recognizes Holt Software's Turing anywhere not in profiles or submissions. Seem wierd and it's the only language I currently know.
Add me same user name as compsci.ca/

Turing isn't widely known outside of Ontario.

Well Coder Profile is a nice, perfectly built site, and basically it's a beginning of visiting forums for me
