Hello. Listen, I have been having some problems with my laptop lately. I am unsure of where to post this, or even if I should post this on this site, but if anyone can help, I would really appreciate it. Okay, so here's the problem: When I turn on my laptop, everything is fine... for, like, the first 15 minutes or so. Then this error pops up: "*** STOP: 0x000000F4 (0x00000003, 0x84B3D978, 0x84B3DAEC, 0x80SD11F8)". It tells me to restart my computer if this is the first time I see this error, or if i've seen it multiple times, to turn off shadowing and caching. It then says it's dumping the physical memory. After that, it restarts my computer. Now, I would try to follow the recommended fix shown on the error, except i don't know how. I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this? oh yeah, and my computer is running XP Home Edition, and is an ACER Aspire 3100 series. Beyond that, I am not sure, I have to find the manual that came with it (my house is a mess... lol.) The errors started several weeks ago, but what I can't figure out is the fact that I hadn't added or removed any programs when this happened, leading me to think it is a possible hardware problem. I have looked on Google but could not find anything that worked. This is pretty much my last resort before giving in and sending it to a 'professional'. Thanks in advance. |
