Well, I never got this error before. I was trying to close and then create another program in Turing.

Haha definitely my favourite crash message. I love how they try to console the user:
Quote:
...and is not your fault.

I got this after writing 200 lines without saving...almost smashed my keyboard.

i think the best thing about this msg is i have wrote a program that does that msg every time you run it.... so if its not my fault, why does it keep crashing! Razz

The "... it is not your fault" disclaimer must come from years of working with end users as a programmer. It's NEVER the user's fault. They NEVER doing anything wrong. It's ALWAYS those darn progammers. They never seem to get it right. So we might as well get the blame game out of the way right up front. "It's not your fault." is more friendly than "ORA-1529 PL/SQL failure. Contact your system administrator."

On a more serious note, I have learned patience (or tried to) with users. About 30 to 40 percent of the time, something has happened that the user was not responsible for. However, 50 to 60 percent of the time, if the system has been stabilized, the error is a result of a user mistake of some kind.
