At this point in time, it is almost painful to see applications written purely using AWT. RTP is no excuse either. It conforms to 1.4.2 from what I've seen, and Swing is certainly available in that version of Java. |

I understand that AWT and Swing are two different gui's for java. I was wondering, however, what makes Swing better than AWT? |

I don't know wtd. That is why I asked. All I know is they are GUI's. Maybe you could give a good link. |
