simple paint

heres my first paint program, the midde/ mouse wheel mouse button changes the colour randomly, old down the right mouse button the erase, and left to draw, it shows the colour number in the current colour at the top left corner

ok SO. good for your first paint program. The wheel mouse button doesnt work for my computer, but that could just be my computer. When u go to draw in the program it also skips. You could improve this by making the it draw a constant line. You can get ideas from other peoples paint programs on this forum.

I have tried to get it to draw a constant line, I am looking for how to do it and thx for the pointers, I'll also make it so you can also change the colour with the keyboard

ok i agree with voltage it is good for ur first paint program.

although i get how he was probably confused. i thought at first that when u scrolled up and down with the mouse it changed colors but u had to click the scroll Razz

my pointers would be to make it that since ur not using the scroll to make it so that when u hit the scroll button it goes up ONE color (not change to a random color Razz) and use the right click to go down or somthing. (because the right click isnt used anyway Very Happy)

If you are having troubles with getting a solid line, fool around with this, and see if you can get it to work:

Turing:
