well i have a 60 mage, and can actually kill a shadow prist
, with the correct timeing of the counterspell...
also have a druid, but i want to make a preist next, because they are really strong.

I've seen a thread like it. Though it (thankfully) had nothing to do with World of Warcraft. The title and body consisted of only "BWAAAAAARGGG!!!!", and people replied with variants of that same text for nigh on 100 pages. And please don't even think of trying something like that. Really. |

I'm a level 60 shadow priest and i melt faces..... Any how i whould not be supriesed at anything that comes out of the deepths of WoW. Also a funny side note is there fourms break when there are over 1000 posts in one of them so i do not think you can post any more in that one (it's working as anateaned....or as i like to say working as coded). |

You do know that if a shadow priest is speced right we have a high resitence to counterspell and at most it lasts 2 seconds. Also shaow preists have a slince move that will make you unable to cast spells for 5 seconds. Plus i have pvp arrmor unlike most presits with raid arrmor for healing.  |

yeah the way im speced now is frost built, geared for slow dps, but survival. my last build was the best, arcane and fire. I could kill a preist in seconds
pyroblast, P0M - pyroblast, fireblast, cone of cold, other various instant spells, along with a CS.. (not that its needed)... Also arcane power (35% more damage to spells) means my combo is deadly... Of course, i had problems with this build fighting other class's, such as a rouge... of which are easy now that i have an ice barrier. |

I have not dougth you could kill are holly preist in seconds but a shaow preist that is pvp speced and in shadow from might causes you problems. I have about 25% damge reduction to spells, 15% to physical dmage and a crazy persent to shadow damge + all the + shadow and spell damge my set has. The thing with mages is they have no way to remove my dots so even if you kill me you will die a few seconds later. Also i have a self rez tricket so even if you did kill me i have a 10% chance to pop back up again, fully heal and melt your face befor you knew what happened 
Sahdow waveing X 5 + shadow from + 15% shadow power in shadow tree = a hell load of % to shadow damge. If a mind blast crits with that, that whould be all the health a mage has. Then there is also the chance on every spell i use on you to stune you and stop you from doing anything. I whould say a good mage vs a good shadow presit both will die. Most peoleop do not know how to play shadow since it is looked down apone so much and there is so litte gear for it so most of the shadow presits you find have no idea what they are doing. The bigest and almost only weakness for a shadow presits is mana. They have enought to do insaine damge for a few mins but affter that they have no way of geting mana back besides pots and can not do anything but look at you. For duels and 1v1 this is not a problem since some one whould have died by then but in a BG or 1v2 and up it can be a problem. P.S. did any one eltes notice how messed up the BGs where yesterday? Or just the servers in general. |

Man wow got messed up with that patch, and my server is still down... I agree shadow presits are far harder then shadow, but even still, if i get the first shot i usually never lose unless there pimped out... On the other hand, if i get hit first, i tend to lose, tho sometimes i can absorb all there damage, and evo and kill them... The two things i hate about the preist is there ability to kill my buffs (which really sucks cause ill take 50% more damage) and conterspell,.. None the less, i feel as i know how to win dosn't mean i always win, but dosn't mean i always lose, lets say, a fair match...
And the cross reml BG's mested up the server somthing awful... damn blizzard gets so much money each month and cant get anything to work right... they have to test shit more, o well |
