9/10. Strange, since I got at least 3 wrong. wtd wrote: Did you miss Bertrand Meyer?
I got that one, but only because I've seen this before, a long long time ago, and because he was first. |

I figured since this is sorta a challenge, it would mean that people who look like programmers would be killers, and vice verse Anyhow, they were guesses too |

Not really... It's actually the opposite, hence my good score. Minsc, you sure you got 3 wrong? There was one I remember which could have gone to both... |

No, I'm not sure. At least, not anymore. Shoulda asked me a few hours ago. But I'm sure I got more than one wrong. |

[Gandalf] wrote: Minsc, you sure you got 3 wrong? There was one I remember which could have gone to both... actually, if you read it carefully, it said that he was a programmer, not a programming language inventor, therefore, it could only have gone the serial killer way |

I got 9/10 but I guessed on 8 of them. I'm just lucky I didn't guess on the Scheme guy, because I recongized him from the MIT lecture tapes. And I guessed "Programmer" on one of them because I was sure it was RMS. It wasn't, but it was a programmer, so I got it right |

Why do the evil looking ones always turn out to be programmers? Because they are sterotypical images of hackers while all programmers are not hackers, but I think I could say most programmers HAVE attempted hacking at some point or other Or maybe because they are always looking at the computers, causing their eyes to get sucked inside the socket, making it darker, hence making them look evil-er. Also, whenever they think, they usually tend to scratch their head, moving the position of their hairstyle. Dark eyes + out-of-style-hair = making look more evil. |
