I have been working on my final project for the ICS 4M0 course and I've been coming along problems with the drawing of images the problems are:

- They wish not too load at times when I draw them

- They like to flash alot (I believe the flashing is processor, ram and the paint class)

I am using a AWT and a Frame if someone could help me that would be great!! Smile

Look up double buffering in Java, it will solve any flashing that is occuring in your programs.

You should also be using a JFrame rather than a Frame, the Frame is an outdated container.

Java has a version 1.7? Shocked
Last time I checked, the latest was version 1.5 and I'm quite sure that hasn't changed. Maybe it's Ready to Program version 1.7? In any case, RTP will not make creating anything properly easy, though you're probably stuck with it as far as school related things are concerned. You will be limited to (IIRC) Java 1.4 features.
