Welll, i figured it out.... lol. The 'theme' service was disabled. I guess the spyware thing messed up the configuration. Anyways, i got it working now. Thanks

This is sort of a continuation of the 'effing pop-ups' post. Anyways, i ran a few more anti-spyware programs and got rid of a bunch of crap. Pop-ups are fixed for the most part. BUT, one of those things removed my windows XP theme (it is running in windows classic). Just wondering if someone could send me the theme =) (or post it on the site, the file is pretty small.... i think), i think its default location is C:\Windows\Resources\Themes |

Yeah I had that problem too, but I didn't have spyware. Awhile back I wanted to optimize for faster preformance for Counter-Strike. Well I quit that game and wanted my XP Theme back, but it wasn't in the drop down menu. So I Googled for like 1-2 months off and on, and finally found my answer. I forgot I had disabled it in the running services thingy, lol. |
