My shiny new PC-BSD desktop, complete with KDE. Not my first choice in display managers, but it works.

Click me to view.

Dark! I don't usually go with dark themes but here's one-- I did compensate with the blue water and sky, and green trees.

Wow! I really like those wallpapers, and the dark windows theme. I've never been a big fan of metallic themes, though. I also question why, rizzix, you put a metallic theme with a foresty background. Thinking

I'm still with my yellow theme. I've lasted longer than I expected. I'll probably stay with it for a few more weeks, too.

My GNOME Ubuntu desktop.
I've run Fedora Core in the past, but Ubuntu is much better for everyday usage.

And he uses Ubuntu too! All hail!

Now we just need to get you on the IRC channel. Wink

Nice desktop, by the way. Those are my favorite sort of wallpapers: the ones with a decently large amount of black space (to put your icons over) and with something interesting and contrasting elsewhere.

Ahh, but notice the windows drive? He's but a dabbler in the power of linux. I'll stick with my bone crunching Gentoo system thank you very much! No drive corrupting windows for me!

most of the themes i've seen or ever used never really stuck with me and i always ended up back at the default windows xp theme with a different wallpaper. yes... windows, i like to play games (yes i know you can on linux, but most are natively developed for windows and i've always had problems with wine/x)

but amailer, whats the name of that theme you're using, and where'd you get it?
