Yes. try google or search it. Please don't slander someone just because you think it's cool. The french are a strange people to be sure, but they could still blow your ass to kingdom come. |

Or, you know, search Napoleon Bonaparte. Did you know that all of these are French words: aide-de-camp, bivouac, brigade, cartouche, Colonel, combat, corps, détente, enfilade, envoy, infantry, lieutenant, mêlée, pilot, pioneer, platoon, sergeant, sortie, terrain, trophy and volley. |

Together with the Germans, the French ancestors overthrew the western Roman empire. Charlemagne greatly expanded the French territory through conquest. He was called "Charles the Great" for a reason. The French later sacked the eastern (Byzantine) empire in one of the crusades. Joan of Arc crushed the British armies and threw them permanently off the continent. ...and then there was that Napoleon guy who he pretty much took over all of Europe. The only reason we all aren't speaking french is that the rest of Europe got its act together and took him out at Waterloo. Later, France helped the United States overthrow British rule. Ironically, it's the US that keeps pushing uneducated, ignorant sentiment slike yours that everything French is loserish, useless and cowardly. |

Don't forget William the Conqueror who conquered England in 1066 after winning the battle of Hastings. He is also credited with creating feudalism. |

And that's why you are a moron. Reading what other people write instead of just guessing is not only rude but kinda makes replying pointless. |

Yes... that is indeed what I meant. Reading people's posts is considerate. To not read them is to be rude. |
