That's because moon, just like Earth, is indeed a sphere like shape and thus has no edges. |

Things like Google Mars are free publicity for them. I imagine that it took someone an afternoon to make that, and now the whole internet is talking about it. Google Google Google. |

A whole afternoon, wow thats a lot of time I think that includes coffee breaks, playing street hockey outside the office, and then making a press release about it. |

Google Mars only shows the subset of the entire planet surface that has paid google for preferential treatment. To view more accurate pictures as well as the entire image set, you need to scroll past the paid results. |
