I just prefer PC games for the most part. I perticularly like ut.. I'm waiting for 2k7... (but 2k7 will come out for the xbox (and ps3 probably) as well) Battlefield 2 has some interesting gameplay. |

I have both COD2 and BF2 for pc, BF2 is definately better. COD2 is fun when you want some mindless runnin and gunnin. |

I think Socom 3 is the best. I dont know if any of u have tried it but if you have the online pack and even if you don't which is fine socom is fun. Ive also tried call of duty 2 its alright but not the best though. Battlefield 2 is awesome though. ![]() |

Haven't played any of them much actually. Haven't even touched SOCOM. The only shooters that satisfy me are Enemy Territory and the occasional Halo. |

I chose Battlefield 2, since I've played it most from all those games, and I can't stand playing first person shooters on consoles. Really, I should play it a bit more some time... Enemy Territory ftw! |

I vote none of the above. Simple FPS shooters and squad based games are not my thing. In my option one of the best FPS ever made was tribes (the orgianl) with some of the server mods out there (shifter is my perosnal favoitt, or even better the verson i made of it). Tho i have seen other FPS that seem very reveltoanty but have yet got a chance to play them in detail. For me the simple shoot the peoleop, hide, shoot peoleop, hide, shoot more game play is not for me. I like FPS that threw in somthing new like tribes where it comabined a startgry game with live atacktion having peoleop buding your base and miny bases, peoleop figiting in vhicnels, difrent classes of chators like an rpg, spying on the other peoleop and so much more that i can not even think of right now. |

I was a bit underwhelmed by COD2. It wasn't a bad game by any stretch, but I found it a bit repetitive and simplistic for a game that only lasted long enough to be a good rental. Multiplayer is pretty standard. I find BF2 is a far more diverse, complete experience. |

![]() I whould love to try it out, but being low on the moenys and all =p And i feal like laying low on the P2P side of things for a bit ![]() Another good things about tribes is that since tribes 2 came out and some other stuff they decide to give out tribes 1 online for free so every one can play with out the FBI bashing threw there door. |

Mmmmm. Tribes 1. Classic. A precursor to HALO in many respects. It's too bad that the second installment was inferior to the first in many respects. |

I know, i was so excited about it and even singed up to beta test it and thats what they give us. They basiclky removed everything that was tribes and just made it another every day FPS. I think one of the big problems was that the bases where to open. A big part of tribes one was that there where so many difrent playing fieleds at the same time. On the gorund, in the air (both viceles and jet packs), in the bases, and aucatly on the floating bases. Tribes 2 made it all 2dish agian with no real fealing of deepth or an asume battle going on. Also they cut so much out of the ablity to mod the servers that the maps and server became all the same or need client side downloads to even start fealing like tribes 1. |

Hmm never tried tribes, maybe i should. Prehaps during march break! But then again I've planned to do everything during march break. MMOFPS = massively multiplayer online first person shooter its like MMORPG but FPS instead of RPG. The only one I played was Endless Ages, which was fun, but it got repetitive. Yeah, I agree COD2 is definetely a rental game. It's got very easy physics so you can learn it fast, and it does get repetitive. But I LOVE Enemy-Territory. Play it when I can, and when I have a freakin mouse and not a touchpad. Sure it might seem to get repetitive, but omg. People make new maps all the time, there are such cool mods, and theres a billion different strategies for every class-weapon combination. Me likes sniper duels ![]() ME LOVES GRENADES ![]() |

No, and that was not the peoleop who made tribes. Some peolep set up there own master server. It was legal b/c the idea is you had to buy your own copy of the game. There cds keys of corse only worked on there master server or so i recall. |
