Here's an interesting game I came across. You make a wish and the next poster grants it but adds a fatal twist. Example Post A: I wish for world peace. Post B: Wish granted, humanity is whipped off the earth. ------------------------------------------------------------ Ok now I will start I wish for chocolate ice-cream.

wtf... global warming doesnt mean the earth is going to get hot, it means there will be a wider range of temprature... winters get colder and summers get hotter. If you release CO2 now, the earth will remain cold.. wish granted, your second wish didnt happen, it's only a wish after all. I wish i get a job with NVidia next term in Cali

If you release CO2 now, the earth will remain cold.. True, there is a delay. If we were to stop all emissions now, global warming would continue progressing for the next 50 or so years. (If that doesn't rock your socks and make you want to go hug a tree, I don't know what will.) But it does mean, on average, the Earth will be hotter. It doesn't mean winters will get colder, all the time. It means the likelihood of extreme weather events increases: There's more heat in the atmosphere, therefore there's more energy, therefore there's more and bigger storms. I wish Stephen Harper had never got into office.
