Excellent! It's always nice to see ducks that have been modified in some way. Much more original. Smile

When I said yesterday that the duck avatars were spreading at a rate only rivelled by the asexual reproduction of bacteria, I was not entirely serious. But wow, the population increased by a good three or four fold over night! Very Happy

I definately agree. Someone was worried about not recognising people with the new ducky avatars, but if everyone incorporates the theme of their old avatar into the new, there should be no problem.

But its true for people who go far away for university, I live in waterloo. Sure its great to meet new people, but I already have a bunch of friends who go to UW. I'm barely in my home as it is, just for sleeping. And if I wanted that experience, I said I'd rent a house with some buddies. See on residence, if there is the mandatory food thingy, it may cost close to 1000$ per month, and you'll have to share the room. Now if you got together with hikaru and someone else and shared a house, you'll get a bigger room, and I bet you could find something close to 500$ a month, sharing utilities.

Wrong on all accounts! Depending on what residence your in meal plans are not nessarily manditory (though if you don't have kitchen you'd need one anyways); and they don't cost nearly $1000 a month. You're also free to not share a room if you so choose. Renting out a house is definitely the way to go though after first year. My rent is $350 a month, plus utilities of $100 tops; res works out to about $550 a month. First yeat residence is worth it for the closeness to campus and to meet people, after that it's not really.
