Hello,

Here's is my project made in Turing. This was my first big assignment in gr.10 compsci class. Hope you like it.

Downloads:
http://sht.ca/media/VirtuPet.msi
http://sht.ca/media/VirtuPet%20Documentation.doc

Features:
- 3 Different Pets to choose from with their own difficulty
- Interactive pet that speaks to you (walk it, feed it, and etc)
- Mini-Games (Chocolate [Feces] Wars, Black Jack, War + more)
- Locations and Services (Pet Shop, Hospital)
- Save/Load your Progress

What's Included in Installer:
- Full Documentation
- Source Code with needed resources (pics, sounds, etc)
- Compiled .EXE for ppl without Turing IDE

Cheat?
- As you type in the user name and pet's name, input "John Sintal" as your user name and, as your pet's name, input "ch34t0r" . This will show the credits and then after give you plenty of money to experiment with.

Comments
- YES! I know the educational value and perhap the entire theme of this program may be for small children. We thought that the idea behind this would be a feasible yet good thing to program.

Looks pretty sweet, lots of media Smile Seems to be put well together.

Your grade 10 project? Can't wait to see what you do in further years Very Happy

Documentation wrote:

Minimum specifications this game was tested on:
CPU: Celeron 333 MHz

Recommended specifications
CPU: Pentium 4 2.0 MHz

First of all I assume that's supposed to say 2.0 Ghz. Though yeah -- keep on driving that hardware specification up, we need more power Wink

Oh yeah, and +Bits of course Very Happy

LOL! "Mhz." I was a fool in haste.

Thanks for the positive comment and bits. This project allowed me to gain a lot of expereince in programming, especially with procedures and user friendly UI.

I hope, in gr.11's VBasic introductory course, my major project will be something that is made with the same amount of effort of this project.
