Ninjas or Pirates?

I'm not entirely sure about that.

The culture of Japan & China developed very similarly in parallel (with some contact, of course), but there was never an emergence of ninja, as it were.

That's just how a lot of compat & subterfuge was done until the bushido code appeared in Japan and made the dishonorable style of killing different from the norm.

Ultimate reason of pirates winning: Parrots. Parrots with dagers even. Parrots with dagers on the shoulders of Pirates with cutlasses in their mouths and with pistols in hand; being fired from cannons at ninjas. I think pirates win.

How is that a fair fight? That's just disabling the pirate and not the ninja, not fair at all. Besides the whole idea of pirates is that they don't fight fair.

They are exceptionally strong parrots... and small daggers... besides; sparrows can carry cocanuts! Parrots are bigger and daggers weigh less!
