i think you have to think at least 16 moves ahead to even stand a chance against kasporov... the computer i think can think 2-3 million moves per second... anywayz that guy you were playing were probably using chess-master... a lot of them do these days

on a more serious note, look *at least* two moves ahead. it doesnt matter how good your move looks, it is useless if it doesnt prevent a checkmate.

I have not played chess (excluding very recently) for over 2/3 years
I have not taken chess very seriously
I have always sucked at chess, and that does not reflect the state of my intelligence
I don't like chess
I don't play chess correctly
You all bragging bastards can kiss my shaved ass (yes, it's shaved as of 5 minutes ago)

I'll probably lose though...
