flash programming

hey,
I am making a board game using flash for a project. The point is to roll the dice, move around the board and answer questions. the game pieces i am using are lil chars that will walk around the board insted of just moving. However, I am having some problems with moving the game piece the amount of squares indicated by the dice. I have tried alot of things but it seems i need a little boost. my dice is done and everything else is done. the only thing i need is to make him move lol. could anyone help?
