On a more serious note:

Visit some universities and see what kind of fasilities they offer to undergrad. Here at Waterloo among other things we have a student machine shop that is open most of the time. I plan on usinig it when I start a mechanical project for myself (have some ideas, but we'll see..)

Also clubs. There are a lot of interesting organizations here. SAE and WARG amongs more outstanding ones, but also a lot of smaller organizations and an opportunity to start your own. I'm thinking of starting another robotics club next term (spring). Checkout EngSoc

U of W is waterloo, UWO is western.

And I've seen that "Friends don't let friends go to Western" t-shirt, my brother has one. Laughing

he he he my parents are engineers they say they would kill me if i become one...hehehe...my dad works with Delphi 5 while my mom works with Java....probably become a doctor, lawyer, win the lottery or evil genius Twisted Evil

Waterloo sounds like a lot of fun when I read up on it at their website. They have a different way of admissions however... they take in factors outside of marks heavly.
