yeah that sucks. our teacher makes use show her the mouseballs in the mouse then watches us leave teh classroom making sure we haven't stolen any. no mouse balls have been stolen, and she makes sure they are they at the beginning of every class.

I think I've mentioned this, but my school glues them shut so they won't ever be cleaned, and they suck cause of that.

that's why your schools should stop being cheap and buy optical mice.

I don't think this happens at our school? Or I am just not aware of it Confused

optical mice would be kindof expecsive for a school cause my school doesn't have any money, we don't have enough overhead projectors. but maybe people in your school respect the fact that schools are not rich and that taking mouse balls would just make compsci class suck because you'd have to use the keyboard for everything.

yea.... buying 300 optical mice.... thats not cheap...

also... then ppl will ruin them. by shoving htings upo there.....
glueing them shut keeps balls.... but then they get dirty and useles...

Also... all the comps at our school have NT.... and therefore... no USB... and optical mice would be USB...
