windmaker sucks, mostly because of the graphics. ive heard its really easy, ive never finished it though because it sucked so much. the style of graphics is probably the only bad thing to ever come out of japan. im gonna move there when i am older and live in a non-modern village like in the last samurai. that movie is awesome.

pff dont piss cell shading just b/c zeald messed it over. jsut look at tales of symphonia it is all cell shaded and it looks sooooo good b/c they tryed to make it anime like. they even had char desing and clip scencs done by the best anime poleop around. zeald peoleop where just dum with it, it can do realy good things when u use it right.

also what i find wired is that some poleop thougth zeald looked good, i was realy disapointed in that. i was hoping for anime look withc they did not give. but tales fixs it all up and brougth back my fate in cell shaded games.

non modern village

whoa I didn't think there are any left in Japan, and can you even get an internet connection.
And I was only interested in tales of symphonia because I liked tales of phatansia alot for SNES, partly because its fighting interface thingy is different from all the other RPGs. If you wanna play it, email me or MSN Very Happy

ToP was great in the beginning but later on it's more annoying than interesting. In the later boss battles you'll need to have all of your magic casters cast automatically so you don't have to do it for them, which gets stupid because somebody will probably be casting spells almost every second. And whenever a spell is being cast, your movement and attack is paused until they finish. It's worse than random battles!

Hehe yah, some spells even heal the enemy, thats part of why I like Seiken Densetsu 3 better, in the catagory of irregular RPGs.

ToS is kick ass, it has up to 4 player co-op play and livel action battles.

unforealy tho, it is only out in jappan now so if you are crazy like me you can get it from there, mod your gc to play jappanes games and then try to translet the battly system and all the text. or you will have to wate for NA verson where they will probly kill it by dubing it 1/2 ass and cuting out some random chars just to piss us off. ToS is gr8, the intro alone pwns all other games.

if you are an anime fan this game is a most. i just hope they dont kill it in the transltion b/c it is seewt in the jappanes form right now.

in ToS the only speels that stop time are the grop spells where every one cast a spell at the same time to make one big one. but that only happens once in like every 4th-5th battle b/c you need to charge up this bar. for your casters you can ether set them to ai, get a frend to play as them with you or be them your self. also i dont think you can heal monsters Razz

I meant like using magic on some types of monsters, like say if I used thunderbolt on one king of sylph, it heals.

My favourite games are:

1. Final Fantasy VII (Playstation) - This has been and very well may be my all-time favourite Final Fantasy. For me it's all around great: characters, music, story, minigames, pretty much everything.

2. Super Mario 64 (Nintendo 64) - Another classic; with great-at-the-time graphics and simple, fun gameplay

3. WarioWare: Smooth Moves (Nintendo Wii) - It's kind of the party game to beat all party games. Super-fun, super-random, super-awesome. Single player or multiplayer, either way still = a good time.

4. Kingdom Hearts (Playstation 2) - As a Disney/Final Fantasy fan, obviously this game appeals to me. But fanboyism aside, the original characters are just as cool and annoying as all other games. Fighting system is boss as in the storyline.

Holy hell! The last post was almost 6 years ago.

I think this thread has decayed beyond recognition and should finally be put to rest.
