I would personally go with Turing. Python is a great language but it is different in some important ways from languages like C, C++ and Java in the way it makes variables and blocks. Besides, Turing is more fun because you can add graphics to your program easily. So I'd say check out Turing. We have good tutorials on here and there is a free textbook.
