TerminalIO Class?

Anyone ever use this?  I was just curious since I realized that my school uses this external class (which is why I couldn't get any example programs running), and I hope it's not too much like the HSA console class...  Since I haven't tried much with it, I just want to see if it's been used anywhere else?
