Broken Quicktime ... again

Amailer (or whoever knows how to fix this problem), i read that .swf files showed up as broked quicktime files ... well the same thing has happened to me, but there is nowhere that you actually explaned HOW you fixed it ... could you explain it please, and thank you.

".swf" = Flash? Why not right click and hit, "Open With..."? :think:

its a problem with the plugins with firefox, i just dont know how to reasign the filetypes

Install the latest Flash plugin, or go into "Options" -> "Web Plugins" -> "Plug-Ins..." and see if it's associated correctly.
I don't know though, I've never had that problem though.

How about just going to macromedia.com and installing plugins again for firefox or i am pretty sure they should be at the mozilla website.

Meh, i even forgot i should have explained it..
Umm

I think I uninstalled both, quick time and flash... then I installed quicktime and then flash after, or was it the other way? lol sry- try both ways.

yah, i thought thats what is needed, im starting that process right now, ill tell you how it works, for future refrence
