i need help bad. when i click on a button it plays both scene 3 and scene 2 when i only want it to play scene 3. How do i fix this?

Well, without seeing the fla file or even a snippet of code I would guess that you need to use gotoandstop rather than gotoandplay or whatever you are actually using.
