Microsoft to make cars that can't crash

-----------------------------------

Absolutely hilarious coming from Microsoft, but nontheless something interesting that would be probably worth following. http://www.usatoday.com/tech/news/2005-05-01-microsoft-cars_x.htm

"Your car is out of gas. Please close all of your open Windows (tm), turn off the car, wait three seconds and then turn the car on again. If you would like to report this error code 0x2837165 to Microsoft, please press the recline button located on the side of your seat."

Perhaps they should... you know... actually work on building a decent operating system before they start working on cars.

They already have the best OS out there. I mean, if I was given the choice to own any OS company, I'd (and anyone else who wasn't dropped as a child) would choose Microsoft without even thinking about it.

Oh wait, you mean quality...right...

WHAT?!?!?! IE??
Sorry, excuse the caps, but why would you want to use IE (assuming you're on your home computer with administrative priviledges)? I find it too easily exploited. And it doesn't have the cool dictionary lookup extension.
Not to mention that FireFox simply sounds cooler.
