Using a timer to save to high score when Exit

Ok if theres a post all ready up sory i did not find it. Ok i want to output a timer, and when the (helicopter crashes) the game quits. Is there any way to make a high score list and be able to use the time to save to high score list. 

I will ask the person for the name at the beging of the game.
But how would i do this?
any tips?

Eh?  Do you want it to output the time in the high score list?  Its the same thing - look up how to calculate time in Turing and then check the high score tutorials...
