My first one was letting my family use the computer unsupervised. 33 viruses and 681 pieces of spyware later, I have everything backed up and it's time to reinstall Windows XP. Joy. So I put the disk in, reboot the computer and start the Windows install. Random BSOD. Stuff I read on the net leads me to believe flashing my bios will work. It didn't. Now, in fact, my bios simply won't detect my hard-drive or my CD-Rom. Help. Please... Or.. do a destructive software reload ._.; Switch IDE cables. Flash your BIOS again. If all else still fails, replace your hard drive and CD-ROM.
