software is crappy..... looking for new program

... the video authoring software that came with my computer won't allow me to preserve the aspect ratio of a video when putting it onto a DVD... :twisted:
a widescreen video gets mangled into a 4:3, and all the people look like twigs. 

anyone have a suggestion for a better program...?

lol.. silly of me not to mention what software I was using.

I have "WinDvd Creator 2" that came with my drive.
