Ripping from Audio CD's

-----------------------------------

my friend gave me some WMA's ripped from audio CD's, but to play them I need a license. And when it goes to download it, it says I can't cause its already been downloaded 10 times.
WMA to Mp3 coverter won't work cause I need a license to encode the WMA's.
Anyone know how to bypass this?
It says something about files ripped from an audio CD are protected.

Have him burn them to a CD (as an audio CD, not a data disc), then re-rip the CD.

Also... I believe Winamp has a sound/music converter, "Nullsoft Disk Writer".

Depending on what version you have, it'll burn any compatible sound file (including .wma) into either .mp3 or .wav format. ".mp3" is only for full version though.
