I tested it, it said over 1200 kbps for download so i tested it again on dslreports then it said over 640 kbps. ADSL should be ~1.5, which is pretty much the results you're getting. Why do I get very different results from different test servers? Poor performance on one test server indicates the path from your ISP to that test server is currently congested. For benchmarking your actual line speed, and not the internet, or your ISP, the higher test number is more correct. Also sometimes it depends where you are located and where the servers are located (the speed changes) but then again, you might already know that... btw 2004-11-06 11:04:04 EST: 2237 / 625 Your download speed : 2291637 bps, or 2237 kbps. A 279.7 KB/sec transfer rate. T1 line?? I have something to say and then we will get back on to ISP connections. To Amalier, sorry i got out of control in my other thread. Now my cable company in the USA charges alot for 3 Mbps and thats the slowest they have. I went to their website to price it and its unbelieveble. Is there anything pretty good price in the USA faster then cable?? What about sattelite?? What about wireless?? where would i get them from?? If i ever did get the money. And it actually went stable at ~600 ----------------------------------- rizzix Sun Nov 07, 2004 10:38 pm ----------------------------------- ha peaks that i've reached with bell are 1200kbps untill they started that new Ultra Highspeed service(i'm using HighSpeed btw).. now its usually clamped to ~380kbps templest - i'm shocked to know that ur cable upload speed is sooo slow.. usually cable uploads are faster than downloads.. pfft.. in anycayse.. dsl uploads are always theoretically slower than cable uploads... but ur's is not any faster than mine.
