So of course I just toss it aside and never remember which ones work. They seem to be pretty unreliable for me... Anyways, are there any alternative forms of storage available to you? Email, ftp, usb storage (even an mp3 player), cd... anything? If not, you may just need to buy another floppy (or swipe one that works). I find that almost every time I sit at a public computer at school there's a floppy disk right there. They tend to last, give or take, three months. Depending on how much you use it. If you use it as much as a HD, It'll last you about 6 hours.
