One with lots of features and etc. I had BulletProof FTP, but now whne i upgraded to 2.3.1 (or w/e the latest version is) (and.. i got it for free) it started to crash with this weird error. So anyone know any good FTP SERVER, not client that i can use. Okay, I forwarded port 20-21 for my ftp server, and in the ftp cilent i made it listen on port 21 (i can only make it listen on one port at a time). Anyway, now if I open a folder (on windows) and login to my ftp, it works. But if I use a FTP cilent it does't.. it connects but never logs in. I did a port look up and this is what i got The host X has a service running on port 21 (ftp). The host X does not have a service running on port 20 (ftp-data). Anyone know how to solve this problem? It's very often the case (always?) that you can't access your own FTP if you have a router. That doesn't mean other people won't be able to access it though, so fear not :) What worked for me is disabling passive mode in my FTP client. That way, I COULD connect to my own FTP. May or may not work for you, but either way it's a very common dillema. Give it to a friend to test and you should be fine.
