I need your postal codes

-----------------------------------

Hey, I need a few valid postal codes to test my program out, so let me have them.

No fakes please

(And don't think your smart by telling me that a valid postal code is LNL NLN, or any shit like that, I need postal codes people acctually use/exist.)

Or feel free to enter it yourself at:
http://octopi.kyed.com/postal/index.php

Keep in mind a postal code could be considered sensitive information, if your not comfortable having people know where you live, don't post it on the internet.

Hey, paul what was your postal code?

The only new one I see is N2L1Y4
and there is a listing for streets for that postal code.

Well, when I actually type it in, it only shows "other", plus that was my old postal code, which contains "Austin Drive", but it only shows park street, when I click the link.

I guess the data isn't very good for small postal codes in small places like waterloo.

Paul, is mail addressed to a PO box, or is it addressed to your home address?

If your postal code belongs to a PO then it won't show a street name.

I don't know why it doesn't work for you, very odd....I probally live in a smaller town then you, and it works for me.

its my home address... I've actually tried my previous postal code and mine right now, and none of them show my street. I've also input one for a town in Quebec, it shows the town name, but no streets either... saint-jean-chrysostome.

It now does numerical verification
(It verifys the number of the address falls within the valid range for the street.)

it uses canadapost.ca's website
first time a postal code is entered, it goes to canada post grabs the data, and stores it in my database, to minimize connections to there site.

All times after the initial time the postal code is requested its loaded from my db, the rest is just manipulating the data.
