3D Engine (rizzix)

pre-alpha version. but i dont think i'm going to carry on development of this project. its good for rendering 3d objects. but.. lacks movement etc.. ah and heh boy those 2 are going to kill me if i say this: its by far the most accurate rendering engine i've seen on compsci so far :mrgreen: (oh and y turing? dont ask.. long story)

PS: built on a completly different (new) code-base

impressive... though... you seem to have some glitch in rendering the sphere :? few faces are rendered before they should and get covered :think:

Now, did you include those other engines so that we may consider all 3 in entirely objective stances?

Or just for gloatware?

Eitherway, it's still pretty darn cool...and it ran well on my 900 MHz Athalon...though it did take about 20 seconds for the smuft to begin loading...

Far too much complexity in those files to bother looking at...I probably wouldn't understand anyhow...I'll just stick to manageable 2D...

So, tell us the story, of 'why Turing'.  I'm sure we're all anxious to hear...:wink:

when i try to extract the files i get like 66 errors because all the files are corrupt...

by accurate i meant perspective correct interpolation. but the newer version appears to be quite accurate heh. yet i can't really tell.. how do i zoom?


EDIT: figured it out nvm

futher y is it i can;t zoom in much.. after a point it the object appears smaller

not really, but i did limit the initial values to around -.79,.16 because that when it looks the coolest  :D
