sorting alrithem (spelling)

well i know how to do like easy sorting right, like bubble sort, bubble flag sort, linear sort, and like some other ones, but i'm just wondering i have been having problems with insertion sort and merge sort so could anyone help me out on this?
like i know these sorting codes are like really really sort, but is a bit hard for me
