But for that, I'll need to know how many digits people know. I started a day ago with my friend and I'm up to ~70 digits. No, they allow us to use calculators. Actually, it's usually not recommended to use calculators when performing calculations with Pi. It's better when stuff cancels it than actually doing something like x*3.141592653 or whatever (unless they want the answer correct to a specified amount of decimal places). The thing is, though, that it's more fun to memorize as many digits of Pi as you can and have "Pi Battles" than it is to learn about loci.
