ending processes

can anyone help me with making a program that ends processes in windows xp? i want to send this program and make it stop an executable file that is on his computer.
for example
virus scan
firewall

no idea, im just starting with c++, i can only do stuff like put text on screen, get stuff in variables, do while loops, if/else statements, while loops, for loops, and system("") stuff. i just felt like typing, sorry.
