You don't really specify what you mean by Visionary here and there are more than a few things I could imagine someone in IT creating: Processes, hardware, software, and services being 4 main ideas though I'm not sure how exhaustive that is.

I'm a self-employed contractor so I'm not an employee which passes part of what you want but what else is there here?  Elaboration please.
