My internet sucks

My internet has been crap lately, since last Sunday.  I let my modem and router rest for like, and hour, and it's already been half an hour after I turned it back on again, and it's still crap.
It started last sunday though, it wasn't like that before.  Does anyone know what's going on?

Sounds like you're getting throttled. Maybe call up your ISP and ask them about it. It could also happen if you've added a number of devices to the network, or if you have a user constantly downloading huge files (torrents).

Even when nobody is downloading anything, it's still crap usually.

Maybe a mouse has been chewing your cables. Maybe your ISP is working on your neighbourhood.  Maybe your modem is shot. Could be a lot of things. If you call up your ISP they should send someone over to figure it out.
