AIF Waterloo

I heard from my friends that doing the AIF for the University of Waterloo, and getting 5/5 on it will increase your average by 5%, is this true? If it does not do that, what does it do?

true.

None to very few ECs = 0-1 mark
Average ECs = 2-3
Amazing ECs (National and International achievements, great contest performances, and other unique ECs such as starting a business, etc.) = 4-5
