----------------------------------- DanShadow Sat Jan 24, 2004 4:15 pm Contest: Best Picture Using 2D Pixel Graphics ----------------------------------- This forum neats some more salsa with it's nachos and cheese...so im starting up my own little contest! Rules: - Graphic can be done with any program (providing YOUR actually doing the pixel art! Judges will determine this!) - Max size: 500*500 pixels, or max upload quota (whichever comes first) - You must provide on the side, the pixels you used in your artwork. (Like all the shades of the colors you used...the is a reason behind this.) - Deadline: Febuary 12 (This gives like over 2 weeks.) - Pretty much all forms of pixel artwork can be used, including (and especially) isometric - images will have a much better chance of winning if they include color. (The more shades of color you use, the better it looks.) - I stress, include a small palette of the pixel shades you used...this is needed in the handin of your artwork Rewards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Winners: - Bits, fame, glory, and post on main page (for 1st place winner ONLY) declaring their winning the contest Punishment for Plagiarising/ Artwork Stealing: - minus LOTS of bits, possible LAMER rating...and a report to the FBI claiming you were looking at kiddie porn.... :shock:(joking!) So get started on your pixel artwork soon, after the 12th, no more entries will be accepted. The judges will be assigned later, probably me, Amailer, and some other mods and/or admins. There is to be no tool used...just primitive 2D pixel art...such as the drawing I attached (that I made for th is example) But with yours, attach a little pallete showing the different pixel shades you used. And NO STEALING MY PIC!
