Second Degree in Computer Science

Hey,

I have a BBA currently. I am going back to school for a degree in Computer Science and was wondering if anyone could recommend an accellerated degree so I do not have to take all the courses I have already taken. Also if it could be done it 2 years or less rather then 4 years that would be very good for me. If anyone could please give any information or advice about this it would be greatly appreciated.

It depends on the school your going to. Most likely the best way to figure it out is to contact different schools and ask them specifically what would transfer over etc.

Well I know that for instance UBC has a 2 year program for people that already have a degre in another discipline. Are there any programs like that in Ontario?

I think McMaster has something like that, a friend of mine is going to Mohawk college right now, and apparently once he gets his diploma he can go to McMaster for 2 years and get a degree.

I second that suggestion. Pick a list of schools you like, and then see what they have to offer.

I'm off to UBCs program in the fall. I couldn't find another school that offered a 2 year degree which the school actively boasted about and you can do 4-8 months of co-op. 

If you want to stay in Ontario though Windsor does one in 3 semesters for people with a degree already.
http://www.uwindsor.ca/cs/835/bcs-general-for-university-graduates its a general degree though not an honours like UBC and Mac...and its Windsor (where I just finished my science degree) which isn't the best school.
