LanSchool Bypass

-----------------------------------

I have just broke the cipher of the lanschool data encryption that is stored and factored out of the ip addresses of each of the computers, now i have a access to my very own lanschool, i reprogrammed the set of ip addresses so that they would see that i am on their port connection but i am accessing it from a third world country so they will never be able to track it back to me. hahahah the school is about to get f'd up the a

What version of lanschool?

The ethical thing to do would be to report the vulnerability to lanschool.

$20 says he forgot that majority of places (Like schools) that have a semi decent IT department (Like schools) have the capability to log the MAC of the computers connected to their networks.

That just made my day.

I assume he is trying to say he found a way around the encryption lanschool aprently added after the last few vulnerabilites in their protocol. Beyond that i have no idea what he is talking about, hopfully he will post his code/exploite so we can see (after alerting lanschool). Till then i am skeptical that he has found any new expolite.

which section is better for me to upload it? I told my schools network security guy and he said he would report it to the lanschool people, i showed him the program that i had made. And obviously if i were to run it and use it for my purposes, i would obvs set up an external port and reroute the i.p address. Im not a stupid person. I always expect the unexpected...

Still traceable. regardless of how you set your external ports and I.P. addresses.

Your could upload it to the fourm matching the language it is in, or you could upload to some other site and link it here. Just make sure lanschool is notified first and your program does not contain copyrighted material.

You could also just post some code segments or parts of the protocol you are exploiting so we get an idea of what you are talking about.

oh okay. I will post the code, but in regards to the section; its coded in x86 assembly.

7.2 is rather out of date but i am still rather skeptical of your claim (at least what I can make out of it). If your code is short post it here in code tags, or if it is long you can either post in the general programing section or just PM or e-mail it to me and I will upload it some where for you (assuming it checks out).

There is no code. Velocity has posted many a time that he's done something neat only to never post the code when asked to.

Never mind the large number of simple programming questions that would seem to indicate that assembly is entirely outside of his skill range.

*And* anyone who writes code in assembly without reason *especially* when interacting with network hardware is almost certainly knowledgeable enough to not say things like "i would obvs set up an external port and reroute the i.p address" which is complete technobabble.

You expected him to have gotten the source code somehow?

@Velocity: What tools did you use?

While I agree, I think we should at least give him the benefit of the doubt in till the code is posted or he fails to respond for a longer time period. Coding a protocol expolite in assembly seems a bit crazy, but their are cases where this would make sense (e.g. sending some kind of buffer overflow payload).

If it turns out it is all B.S. you can give him another warning, and be done with it.

Edit: Also i do like how he made a post about how "the school is about to get f'd up the a" from an IP from that school with no proxy. If he does indeed have an expolite (wthere he made it or just downloaded it) and uses it, he is going to be in a world of hurt rather fast.
