Has anyone started a CCPC (Canadian-Controlled Private Corperation)?

I have not, however I will be starting one next semester (for part of a customized course). I am willing to help you find information, as I will need the same, however I do not know much right now.

The government sites are surprisingly good - they make the process seem so simple I'm sorta wondering what I'm missing...

For anyone interested, it's a surprisingly simple process. Get a name report (if you want a name); then fill out an online form and pay $200. Then write some by-laws and apply for any permits you might need (seems to be none for software development) and apply for a business number and/or HST (still haven't figured that one out).

Took about an hour.
