Though I realize you're probably talking about doing another major in a completely different field, like arts or business. ----------------------------------- Homer_simpson Thu May 05, 2011 11:18 pm Re: What's your major? ----------------------------------- I was completely lost in highschool, so I went into university not knowing what to expect and majored in biochemistry. After first year I had a good feel for how things work and got a new found interest in physics so I changed my major to biophysics which is sort of a new field. Its kind of difficult since it requires that I take almost all courses for physics majors plus biochemistry courses on top, but I find the material very interesting so it's worked out for me so far. What i learned from my experience is that if you are unsure as to what your interest is you can always do an open ended major for your first year and switch your major once you have a better feel for what is expected of you in university. This route might cause some minor set backs since there maybe prerequisites that you have to fulfill but at least you will end up making a more informed decision for your undergrad major. ----------------------------------- chopperdudes Fri May 06, 2011 1:37 am RE:What\'s your major? ----------------------------------- doing engsci in U of T, just finished first year.
