No he's clearly talking about bubble sort, which has amazing best case scenario speed, and therefore is awesome under the right conditions.

When my deck of cards is completely sorted except for the last two cards, which are swapped, it's no good. I'm throwing them on the floor and starting from scratch. Stupid cards.

exactly. But you know what, all we gotta do is use this on a quantum computer, since when it randomizes the deck, it spawns a new universe for every possibility, then simply blow up the universes that aren't sorted. BAM best sorting algorithm ever.


Lol but on a serious note, very few algorithms actually handle your example case well (bubble sort being one of them) Most actually do what you said and start from scratch
