UW CompSci

I have: (Semester 1)
92 Physics 12
88 Calc 12
92 Advanced Func 12

So far I have: (FIRST REPORT CARD)

84 English
86 Comp Sci 12
90 Chem 12

Total Average = 88.6 

But I did horrible in grade 11.. ended up with average of 78.8 :(

Would I have any chance to get into computer science in UW?

Those marks look like they're definitely good enough to get you in.  As far as I know universities (at least in Ontario) only look at grade 11 marks for early acceptance and some scholarships. Don't worry, you should be fine.

I really don't think you should be terribly concerned with how you did in grade 11 - like I said, those are only looked at for early acceptance and some scholarships.  As far as acceptance goes, you need only worry about your top six grade twelve marks (and those required by the program).

i got 59 in english, and my overall avg for gr 11 was 69.
i still made it to uwaterloo software engineering (w/ scholarship) w/ a 87 avg (gr. 12)

if this doesn't make u feel better, i dunno wht would..  8-)
